Associations, Clubs and Co-operatives

The LAW Team have assisted a number of community groups, incorporated associations, not-for-profits, clubs and charities across a broad range of matters including in the areas of governance, interpretation of rules and by-laws, contracts, leases, disputes between members and management committees and litigation and employment law.

Maleny is the world-renowned home of co-operatives. The LAW Team are strong supporters of the principles upon which co-operative communities are based and have assisted and advised a number of co-operatives in the areas structuring; ownership of improvements; share and property transfers; disputes and litigation; and cross-securitisation of loans
