Carolyn Williams - Partner
Carolyn Williams was recently acknowledged by the Queensland Law Society for attaining 25 years in legal practice. Carolyn has extensive experience in advising on and managing disputes across all jurisdictions, having worked previously for the Australian Government Solicitor, a Royal Commission and then for many years with a large city law firm before joining Maskiells as a partner in 1998. Carolyn takes a pragmatic and practical approach to resolving disputes and focuses on endeavouring to resolve disputes before embarking on litigation. Carolyn also has extensive experience in and is passionate about employment and industrial relations law. She has successfully represented Local Governments, employer groups, corporations and employees.
Carolyn regularly drafts and advises on building contracts, resolved building and payment disputes and acted on appeals in the Commercial and Consumer Tribunal.
Carolyn is a member of the Queensland Law Society, Sunshine Coast Business Woman’s Network, Australian Legal Practice Management Association, Maleny Chamber of Commerce and a Director of the Maleny Credit Union.
